We need a system change that makes it easy for all to be part of the solution. Therefore: I urge you to take bold and concerted action to reduce the carbon impact of our transportation system. I urge you to choose the aggressive greenhouse gas reduction target that the most recent climate science tells us we need. I urge to to create policies that prioritize clean investments in areas overburdened by pollution and/or for those who don’t have access to transportation choices. There's no time to waste - please do the right thing now.	-

We need to address this source immediately if we are going to truly mitigate the damage that climate change is going to cause. We cannot simply depend upon the market to make the right choices - it will take too long and not go far enough. Some type of government intervention is needed. The air in Bucks County PA is already bad too often with transportation being a major contributor to the problem. We need a coordinated regional response to address our air quality.	-

Many trains, buses, and stations haven’t been retrofitted in decades. For many people in rural parts of our states, there are zero viable public transportation options, which forces them to drive. By making polluters pay and creating a dedicated source of funding through TCI, we’ll finally be able to move our state to a 21st-century regional transportation system that is cleaner, more reliable, more accessible, and more affordable. We’ll see less traffic, thousands of new jobs, and less dangerous air pollution. All communities — whether urban, suburban, or rural — will benefit.	-

Reducing pollution from transportation is a key component to reducing Pennsylvania's emissions and improving the quality of the air we breathe here. Public transit investments that could be made with TCI proceeds would be valuable to that end. I would like to see our leaders choose the aggressive greenhouse gas reduction target that the most recent climate science tells us we need. I want to see policy that prioritizes clean investments in areas overburdened by pollution and/or for those who don’t have access to transportation choices. Thanks for your consideration.	-

R290a is a propane based refrigerant. A typical automobile uses less than two pounds of refrigerant. R290a can be used as a direct replacement for HC134a. Considering the fact that most automobiles have several pounds of highly inflammable gasoline or diesel fuel, and petroleum oils in their hot engine compartments, the addition of a small amount of propane in a sealed system seems inconsequential. The most common failure in air conditioning systems is a slow leak, resulting in the loss of refrigerant over a period of about one year. This amount of leakage of propane would be inconsequential, especially considering that the greenhouse effect from R290a is about 600 times less than conventional fluorocarbons. In a system designed from scratch it should be possible to locate the evaporator in a safe location with heat dissipation being transferred through an antifreeze based heat exchanger. I suggest high priority be given to elimination of fluorocarbon refrigerants.	-
