Our military surely burns a lot, too, we need them to be strong but also not guzzling irresponsibly. Thank you.	-

I live in a state capital and do not have a public transit option to reach a major airport 25 miles away. I live 30 miles from the US Capital, in a state capital with no public transportation between them. This is ridiculous. Maryland’s Governor Hogan wants to add highway lanes in a nod to remarkable misunderstanding of traffic congestion.	-

We can work together to do our part about climate change while the federal government denies and delays. We must reduce our transport emissions. I believe that improving public transport (trains and buses) is vital to save our planet. A wonderful "side effect" of reducing private car emissions would be a wonderful public transport system. if you want to get people out of their cars we must have an extensive and reliable public transport system. I have wandered all over Europe on public transport and returned to the US saddened by the limited shoddy state of ours. Please Massachusetts (my state) join in this important initiative!	-

We have to do everything possible to reduce emissions that contribute to global warming. Anything that will cut back on the millions of vehicles on our roads will also reduce carbon pollution. The exhaust comes from too many large trucks, buses, and all kinds of vehicles mostly going to and from the Steamship Authority Ferries in Woods Hole. When added to the traffic of local people, and the commuting to and from the Oceanographic and other institutions in Woods Hole it becomes unworkable and very unhealthy for the local people living along this road. I dread getting and invitation or Dr. apt. that is off Cape because I can't get home for hours with the traffic. I can barely get anywhere on Cape Cod in the summer. I can barely find a parking spot. The answer is not more or wider bridges to allow more cars to join the gridlock that makes life for locals and visitors a huge frustration. We need more public transportation to get the overload of cars off the Cape roads and the overload of exhaust.	-

Traffic congestion from millions of cars and trucks are polluting our lungs and planet more than ever before. In fact, transportation is our largest source of global warming emissions (regionally and nationally). I would like to see Delaware formally join the plan to reduce emissions. Let's prioritize the development of clean mass transit in areas overburdened by pollution and in areas where the population does not have access to convenient transport. Why not concentrate on mass transit rather than another lane of traffic on the interstate (which never seems to alleviate congestion)? Let's progress toward a clean transportation plan. Thank you for promoting the bipartisan nature of this project, moving us forward while the federal government takes us backward.	-
