This tax, cloaked as a “fee” is illegal and is being foisted upon all citizens of the Commonwealth without regard for our well being. Governor Baker, shame on you!!! What makes you think you can perpetuate something so heinous on us without any impunity? Should this tax be enacted, all prices will skyrocket and YOU will see an exodus from this state, myself included. In fact, effective immediately, I will be doing all my shopping in New Hampshire and that includes my gas purchases.	-

We voted before for no tax increase on gas and I still do not want a tax on our gas. We are taxed enough in Massachusetts. Concentrate on cleaning up the overspending on luncheons, travel, etc.	-

This is nothing more than a revenue enhancement scheme. Energy is everything to a robust economy and there are approximately 10 million people employed in the U.S. working oil and natural gas production/transportation. Fuels taxes and UST storage tank fund taxes by state, combined with the federal excise tax on gasoline and distillates are already high enough. The national average combined fuels tax for gasoline is $0.547 cents per gallon. That is enough.	-

If and when there are legitimate attempts by the state government to reduce waste and inefficiency then and only then should they pursue such a tax. I expect that passing this will result in another tax payer referendum and repeal of the tax.	-

Massachusetts taxpayers spend more per mile than any other state on roads and it’s a disgrace the shape they are in. This TCI tax will be misused and abused and I am sick of it. You get enough money from us, I think you should get a lot less.	-
