TCI-P Public Webinar on June 10 at 1 PM
On Thursday, June 10 at 1 PM, officials from jurisdictions participating in the Transportation and Climate Initiative Program (TCI-P) will host a public webinar to provide updates informed by the recommendations and feedback received from hundreds of individuals and organizations since March 1.
During the webinar, officials will discuss jurisdictions’ plans to further engage with the public regarding the implementation of TCI-P and other related policies, and will share additional materials for public review and feedback.
Public Input Period Extended to May 7 for Feedback on Draft Model Rule
March 30, 2021 - In response to requests from people and organizations, Transportation & Climate Initiative states and D.C. are extending the public input period for the TCI-P draft Model Rule. Input is most helpful if received by Friday, May 7, 2021. (Previously, input had been requested by April 1.) There is still no deadline for public input on public engagement planning, investment priorities, complementary policies, or other aspects of the program. Interested people and organizations are encouraged to provide input through the online TCI-P Public Input Portal. Thank you to everyone who has already shared their thoughtful input.
TCI-P Allowance Market, Auctions, and Compliance Webinar (March 26, 2021)
On March 1, TCI state agency staff shared updates on the TCI-P, including a Draft Model Rule and proposed processes for public engagement to ensure that equity, environmental, climate, and transportation justice considerations are at the center of TCI-P development and implementation. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to provide input and feedback on the Draft Model Rule and the Update on Public Engagement Planning through the online TCI input portal. Input on the Draft Model Rule is most helpful if received by May 7, 2021. Input on public engagement processes are invited on an ongoing basis.
